Defender reveals her love of animals and Sheffield plus the one thing she hates most!

1) What’s your earliest memory?
My earliest memory would have to be my first ever Man City game that I went to. It was around the time of my third birthday but I remember it as clear as day. We won 6-2 against Bolton Wanderers. I was so high up in the stadium that I remember thinking the players had flat feet because obviously you've got no real perspective of how big things are. I remember the noise was a lot for me at that age but I remember a lot of it so clearly.

2) If you could go back in time, would you? And where to?
If I had the chance, I'd go back around 5 or 6 years to when I went on holiday to Costa Rica with my family. It was the most amazing experience. I love animals and the wildlife there was so abundant. From sloths that I absolutely adore to the variety within the country - one side being tropical with paradise beaches, crystal clear water and the other side it is jungle and rainforest. It was a truly amazing time. I would definitely go back there.

3) What do you like most about yourself?
What I like most about myself is that I am kind-hearted and a good person. I'm generally a smiley person and that's something I like.

4) What's your biggest achievement?
My biggest achievement would definitely be getting to play for England. It was a dream of mine since I was tiny, so achieving that was a proud day for me. I couldn't wipe the smile off my face when I did.

5) What’s your worst habit?
My worst habit is that sometimes I procrastinate. I can get caught up scrolling through Twitter when I could be more productive.

6) What makes you most angry?
What really makes me angry is rudeness. I hate when people are rude. It just really annoys me.

7) Who is your biggest influence?
My biggest influence would have to be my mum and dad. They've instilled values in me like hard work, caring for other people, and looking out for others. They have really shaped the person that I am today.

8) How do you react under pressure?
Under pressure, I think I tend to perform better. Be it big games or even doing media stuff or at school in exams, I always did better when it was something that really mattered rather than a mock exam, for example. I feel like it brings the best out of me.

9) When do you feel most at ease?
Most of the time to be honest. I'm quite a chilled person, so whenever I’m awake I feel at ease and when I’m asleep as well I guess because you feel relaxed then don’t you!

10) What do you dream about when you sleep?
I dream about all sorts of things. I've been having some weird ones recently where people from different aspects of my life who would never interact in reality all coming together in one dream. It's been chaotic recently.

11) Favourite phrase or word?
At the minute, my favourite phrase would have to be "YOLO." I'm just living a carefree life at the minute and it's a very happy place to be.

12) What reminds you of home?
Whenever I see my family. So whenever I see them at games or anything like that, I feel like home has been brought to me. Also, greenery. I’m from Sheffield and there are so many parks and you’re close to the countryside so being out in the open feels like home.

13) Are you superstitious about anything?
I used to have more superstitions than I do now. After my injury, I started afresh and at the moment I wouldn't say I have any at all. It has been quite free not having to listen to a particular song or do anything.

14) What makes you cry?
Sad films really upset me. And happy ones sometimes. TV programmes can set me off too. When I'm in the house on my own and something just strikes a nerve, it can set me off.

15) One song that makes me feel good?
There are a lot of songs that make me feel good. At the moment, I'm really enjoying "Summer" by the Courteeners. It's a real pick-me-up song for me right now.

16) Biggest obstacle?
My biggest obstacle could be overthinking. When I'm in a difficult scenario, I tend to replay it and try and figure out every detail rather than just making a decision on the spur of the moment. So maybe being overly considerate of things.

17) Favourite place in the world?
My favourite place in the world would have to be home. Just being back home in Sheffield, in the living room with my family.

18) Most valuable possession?
That is a great question. Probably one of my teddies from childhood. They're very sentimental and they've supported me throughout my journey. They’re still here. They haven’t fallen apart yet.

19) Worst fear?
I really hate spiders. I also really don't want to drown or burn to death. It's quite extreme and dark, but like, I really don't want that to happen. But that hopefully isn’t around the corner. But spiders being in the house…Ohh, they freak me out. I have to get the hoover with the long hose and even being able to do that is only a recent thing because my mum and dad bought me a hoover with a long hose for my birthday. I have once had to get a neighbour around at 11pm at night because there was a spider in my house. I had to wake them up but they were so lovely about it. Spiders cause me a real issue.

20) How would you like to be remembered?
I'd like to be remembered as being a good person, someone who cared about others. Just being kind, a happy positive person and someone that people wanted to be around.
