The draws for the three football World Championships taking place at this summer’s 2023 IBSA World Games were held at St. George’s Park this afternoon.

England have teams competing in the men’s and women’s Blind Football World Championships and in the men’s Partially Sighted World Championship this summer.

The 2023 IBSA World Games in Birmingham will take place between 14-27 August, with the specific match dates for each competition and ticket purchasing information found here.

The FA’s head of para performance, Cath Gilby, and England Blind women’s head coach Michelle Wilcock started proceedings by conducting the women’s Blind Football World Championships draw.

This was followed by England Blind men’s head coach Adam Bendall and player Roy Turnham partaking in the men’s draw before England PS head coach Steve Daley and player John McDougall assisted with the Partially Sighted competition.
