England MU17s squad face three games in Pinatar

Young Lions head coach Greg Lincoln has picked his squad as they kick-off new season with a trip to Spain

England men’s under-17s will be in Pinatar this month as they prepare for their 2024 UEFA U17 EURO campaign.

The Young Lions, under new head coach Greg Lincoln, will head to Spain for games against Portugal, Morocco and the host nation in September.

Lincoln has named a 23-strong squad for the trip, which kicks-off against Portugal on Wednesday 6 September (6pm BST) before they play Morocco on Saturday 9 September (6pm BST). The final match against Spain comes on Tuesday 12 September (5pm BST) with all games taking place at the Pinatar Arena.

England have both September and October’s international windows to prepare for their UEFA U17 EURO first qualifying round in November, when they play Croatia, Faroe Islands and Kosovo in Croatia.
