About the Volunteer Conferences
Our Volunteer Conferences are designed to support and inspire people who are new to volunteering or interested in getting involved in the game. Now in their third year, these events bring together individuals from a diverse range of backgrounds to learn new skills, build confidence, and discover the many ways to make a difference off the pitch.
Each season, the conferences focus on key growth areas within football. Previous years have supported engagement with community and faith leaders, and welcomed young and female volunteers into roles across the game. The aim is always the same: to open doors, highlight the support available, and empower new volunteers to take their next steps.
Whether you're exploring volunteering for the first time or looking to develop your involvement, the conferences offer a welcoming environment to learn, connect, and feel part of the wider football community.

The 2026 Volunteer Conference
Off the Pitch, On the Team
You are invited to the FA’s Volunteering Conference 2026!
This year, our conference series will take place across regions of the country, focusing on supporting women - new, aspiring, or curious volunteers - to build their skills, grow their confidence, and understand how they can get involved in the game.
Across the day, attendees will hear from inspiring speakers, take part in practical workshops, and connect with others who share a passion for supporting women and girls’ football.
