The England Powerchair squad has been named for the 2025 EPFA Nations Cup, which takes place in Italy this September.

Head coach Adam McEvoy has picked a group of eight players as the Para Lions aim to defend their title following their victory in Finland in 2019.

England will play Denmark, Italy, Scotland and Republic of Ireland in their group stage of the competition, which takes place in Lignano Sabbiadoro between 17 and 25 September.

Group B features France, Germany, Belgium, Spain and Northern Ireland, with teams playing four games at the first stage before the tournament heads into the quarter and semi-finals and final placing stages.

“The squad has a great blend of experience and youth and we've built a collective understanding and dynamic over recent months which has been really pleasing,” said McEvoy.

“Our week-long camp and fixtures against the USA in July were incredibly worthwhile and gave us a good indication of where we're currently at as a group.

“As we enter our final preparations, we're looking forward to ramping things up with our aims to be as successful as possible in Italy.”

The Squad: Jon Bolding, Chris Gordon, Tyler Reeve, Ethan Fisher, Dan McLellan, Dylan Kelsall, Ed Common, Marcus Harrison
