Grace Clinton gives us the lowdown on her Lionesses campmates

Having made her senior Lionesses debut over a year ago, Grace Clinton is now well acquainted with her team-mates as she heads off to her first major tournament at UEFA Women's EURO 2025.

Here, the midfielder gives us the lowdown on the squad, from who has the most competitive streak to who is bringing the banter to the camp.

Who's your best friend in the camp?

I’d say I don’t really have a best friend. I’ve got a lot of friendship groups, so I like to hang out with Aggie [Beever-Jones] and Maya [Le Tissier] and Millie [Bright] and Beth [Mead] but I don’t have one go-to person. I like to be with everyone.

Biggest joker in the camp?

That’s a good question. Beth Mead – she’s just got rubbish jokes.

Who's good for a quiet chat about something or advice the camp?

I like to speak to Millie Bright about advice. I like go to her quite a bit.

Who's the keenest trainer in the camp?

Lucy Bronze.

Who would you always find in the gym?

Esme [Morgan] is always in the gym and Maya. Always.

Who is the best camp DJ?

I think Leah [Williamson] is our camp DJ but I like Alessia’s [Russo] music as well, though.

Who is in charge of what you're all watching on TV in camp?

It’s either there’s a game on or we don’t watch TV.

Who will you always find on their phone?

Who am I going to dig out? Khiara [Keating] likes her phone a little bit sometimes.

Who gets the most pumped up for a game?

Leah is always saying a lot of things but I think inevitably, Lucy. She gets herself quite pumped.

Who could fall asleep anywhere in the camp?

I’d actually say me!

Who is the most competitive outside of football?

Maya.
