England women’s under-19s drew 1-1 with Austria in their 2026 UEFA Women’s Under-19 European Championship qualifying campaign.
The Young Lionesses have already secured their place in round two of qualifying, having beaten Estonia and Greece earlier this month.
England took the lead with around ten minutes remaining of the first half through Lois Shooter.
The forward capitalised on a defensive error, chasing down a loose ball to race through on goal and slot home from inside the penalty area.
But it was a lead that, unfortunately, didn’t last long. Within a minute of the restart, England’s opponents were back on level terms.
And following a goalless second half, it ended all-square at Sportland Arena in Estonia.
Lauren Smith’s side finish top of Group A3, with the Young Lionesses competing to secure their place at next summer’s tournament in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
