Lionesses take home prizes at Sunday Times Sportswomen of the Year Awards
The England duo won prizes at last night's ceremony

Lionesses head coach Sarina Wiegman and Michelle Agyemang were recognised at The Sunday Times Sportswomen of the Year Awards 2025.
Wiegman was awarded the Editor’s Choice Award, revealed at the live awards ceremony yesterday evening.
The Dutchwoman led England to back-to-back European titles in the summer as the Lionesses won UEFA Women’s EURO 2025.
Meanwhile, Michelle Agyemang was named as the Young Sportswoman of the Year.
Nominees must have been 21 years old or younger on 1 January 2025 to be eligible for the accolade.
The England and Arsenal forward played a starring role in Switzerland, scoring important goals against Sweden in the quarter-final and Italy in the semi-final to win the young player of the tournament.
Hannah Hampton was also nominated for The Sunday Times Sportswoman of the Year 2025 which was won by rugby’s Ellie Kildunne.
The Lionesses were also up for the Team of the Year which was awarded to the England Red Roses.
