Jude Bellingham named in FIFA Dream XI

Jude Bellingham has been named in the FIFA Dream XI from the World Cup 2026 tournament, chosen by fans from across the globe.

The midfielder was England’s top scorer in North America, scoring seven times as the Three Lions claimed third place to record their best World Cup finish for 60 years.

Only golden boot winner Kylian Mbappe (10) and Lionel Messi (8) scored more goals than Bellingham, who was instrumental in helping England achieve their best-ever finish at a World Cup staged on foreign soil.

The Real Madrid man enjoyed an outstanding summer, with his seven goals the most any Three Lions player has ever scored at a major tournament.

Starting every game en-route to the semi-final, Bellingham scored in the group stage victories over Croatia and Panama as the Three Lions qualified for the knockout stage unbeaten.

And it was there that the tournament saw the best of him.

The 23 year old scored twice in 98 seconds during a brilliant display against Mexico in the last 16 as Thomas Tuchel’s side recorded one of their finest wins in recent years, and he followed that up with a match-winning brace in the 2-1 win over Norway to send England through to the last four.

With Tuchel making several changes for the bronze final against France, Bellingham came off the bench to wrap up the 6-4 victory with a jinking run and finish in added time.

It's certainly been a summer to remember for the former Birmingham City and Borussia Dortmund player, who underlined his credentials on the international stage by achieving two further milestones.

Bellingham became the youngest European player to play in four major international tournaments when he started the opening game against Croatia aged 22 years and 353 days.

And he followed that up in the next game against Ghana as he became the youngest England men's player to win 50 caps aged 22 years and 359 days.
