England WU23s will be heading to Kingston-on-Thames for WU23 European Competition game

The Young Lionesses will play at Kingsmeadow next month as Lydia Bedford's side continue their defence of the U23 European Competition title.

England will welcome Belgium to south-west London on Monday 30 November (7pm GMT) in their second fixture of the 2026-27 season. Tickets are priced at £5 for adults, £3 for concessions and £1 for under-16s and can be purchased directly from the Chelsea ticketing website.

The fixture will mark the Young Lionesses' first home appearance in the capital since the introduction of the U23 European Competition in 2023. Kingsmeadow, which is now home to Chelsea's academy teams, was previously the home of Chelsea Women for nine years.

This is the WU23s' fourth season competing in the competition, which was introduced to help bridge the gap between the end of the pathway and senior international football.

The Young Lionesses have been drawn in Group B alongside Norway, Belgium, Portugal and Italy for the 2026-27 campaign.

Speaking about the game, head coach Lydia Bedford said: “We’re really excited to be playing in London for the first time and looking forward to facing Belgium at Kingsmeadow.

"The players always get such a lift from playing in front of a home crowd. We had fantastic support at our last home game, where we set a new attendance record for the WU23s, and we’d love to build on that momentum next time out.

"These are brilliant experiences for the players, and hopefully we can get plenty of England fans along to support us.”
