Wales trip for MU18s squad

Paul Williams will be overseeing the England Under-18s for a five-day camp in Wales

England men's under-18s will be back in action next week when they travel to Wales for a one-week training camp.

The squad will be meeting up on Monday before facing the Wales at Newport County’s Spytty Park on Friday 3 September.

The MU18s will be led by former Coventry City defender Paul Williams, who will be assisted by his old Derby County team-mate Michael Johnson and goalkeeper coach Adrian Tucker.

The Squad

Goalkeepers: James Beadle (Charlton Athletic), Jacob Knightbridge (West Ham United), Charlie Setford (Ajax)

Defenders: Luke Chambers (Liverpool), Jordan Hackett (Tottenham Hotspur), Brodi Hughes (Chelsea), Lee Jonas (Liverpool), Jadel Katongo (Man City), Rico Lewis (Man City),  Richard Olise (Chelsea)*, Zak Sturge (Brighton & Hove Albion)

Midfielders: Samuel Braybrooke (Leicester City), Darko Gyabi (Man City), Lewis Hall (Chelsea), Samuel Mather (Manchester United), Michael Olakigbe (Fulham), Sonny Perkins (West Ham United), Jack Wells-Morrison (Crystal Palace)

Forwards: Zak Emmerson (Brighton & Hove Albion)**, Kaide Gordon (Liverpool), Daniel Gore (Manchester United), Kian Pennant (Leicester City)

* Replaces Brooke Norton-Cuffy (Arsenal) who is withdrawn injured
** Replaces Oakley Cannonier (Liverpool) who is withdrawn injured
