Young Lions will play Italy and Germany in September as they gear up for U19 EURO qualifiers later this year
England men’s under-19s will begin their new season with games against Italy and Germany in September.

Head coach Ian Foster will be leading the Young Lions this term, and with the UEFA U19 EURO first qualifying round scheduled for November, he'll be looking to get his group prepared for the challenges ahead.

He’s picked a 23-man squad for their first camp of the season, with the group being based at the national football centre in Burton for training before the Azzurrini arrive for the first game on Thursday 2 September (2pm BST).

They will then head to Bad Durrheim in Germany for their second game of the month on Monday 6 September (4.15pm BST).

It's a competitive season for the MU19s, who are due to face group hosts Sweden, Andorra and Switzerland in their first UEFA U19 EURO qualifying games in November. This season's U19 EURO Finals will be held in Slovakia next summer.
