England's 2022-23 UEFA Nations League fixtures confirmed
The dates for England’s 2022-23 UEFA Nations League fixtures have been confirmed, with Gareth Southgate’s men set to kick their campaign off away to Hungary on Saturday 4 June.
The Three Lions were put in League A Group 3 alongside Germany, Italy and Hungary during Thursday night’s Nations League draw in Nyon, Switzerland.
But the exact dates and opponents were not confirmed by UEFA until this morning.

Saturday 4 June 2022 – Hungary v England (5pm kick-off)
Tuesday 7 June 2022 – Germany v England (7.45pm kick-off)
Saturday 11 June 2022 – England v Italy (7.45pm kick-off)
Tuesday 14 June 2022 – England v Hungary (7.45pm kick-off)
Friday 23 September 2022 – Italy v England (7.45pm kick-off)
Monday 26 September 2022 – England v Germany (7.45pm kick-off)
England will be hoping to top their group, like they did in the inaugural competition in 2018-19 when they finished third overall, so they can reach the four-team Finals in June 2023.
The winners of all four groups in League A reach the title-deciding event, with promotion and relegation taking place between all four Leagues ahead of the next Nations League.
