Young Lionesses will head to Telford for their 2021-22 opener

England Women’s under-19s are to return to action against Czech Republic at the end of July.

It will be the first match in more than a year for Lydia Bedford’s side following the COVID-19 pandemic - with their last fixtures being a double-header against USA back in February 2020.

And the Young Lionesses will be heading to AFC Telford’s New Bucks Head Stadium for the game Friday 30 July (11.30am KO).

The squad will meet up at their St. George’s Park base for an eight-day camp before they head west to take on the Czechs.

You can also see the next generation of Lionesses in action with tickets now on sale, priced at £3 for adults and £1 for concessions.

Following the cancellation of the last UEFA European Women's U19 Championship, the team are preparing to face Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland and Switzerland in the qualifying round of the 2021-22 edition.

Those matches are due to take place in October with the finals being held next summer in Czech Republic.
