England men's under-21s squad updates - October

Lee Carsley has been forced into some changes ahead of the October matches with Slovenia and Andorra

October 5

Goalkeeper Carl Rushworth has been added to Lee Carsley’s MU21 squad in place of Josh Griffiths. 

Rushworth, who is on loan at Walsall from Brighton & Hove Albion, has previously been involved at MU19 and MU20 level. 

October 4

PSV Eindhoven winger Noni Madueke and Huddersfield Town loanee Levi Samuels Colwill will not be joining up with England MU21s for their forthcoming UEFA U21 EURO qualifiers against Slovenia and Andorra due to injury.

Leeds United forward Joe Gelhardt and VfB Stuttgart defender Clinton Mola, who were initially part of Andy Edwards’ England MU20s, will now join Lee Carsley’s squad for their upcoming away fixtures.
