UEFA Women's EURO 2022 draw made
The draw for UEFA Women's EURO 2022 was made in Manchester on Thursday evening, with hosts England drawn out against Austria, Norway and Northern Ireland in the group stage.
As host nation, Sarina Wiegman's Lionesses knew they were automatically placed in position one of Group A ahead of the draw, which was hosted by former England defender Alex Scott and Gabby Logan.
They were then paired with teams from the pots two, three and four respectively during the ceremony at the city's Victoria Warehouse.
And England will kick-off their campaign against Austria at Old Trafford on Wednesday 6 July, before heading south for their second game with Norway at Brighton's Community Stadium on Monday 11 July.
The group stage will be rounded off for the Lionesses when they play Northern Ireland at St. Mary's Stadium in Southampton on Friday 15 July.
Ironically, the Lionesses are due to play Austria in November at Sunderland's Stadium of Light in their next World Cup qualifier, fresh from a 4-0 victory over Northern Ireland at Wembley last week.
The tournament is being staged at nine different venues across England with 31 games taking place between 6 and 31 July 2022.
And you can register your interest in tickets for those matches now, with the ticketing ballot open from 7pm on Thursday 28 October.
The full group draw is below.
Group A: England, Austria, Norway, Northern Ireland
Group B: Germany, Spain, Denmark, Finland
