There are four new coaches involved with England's Para development teams across CP, blind and deaf squads
England Football’s Para teams have been boosted by the appointment of four new coaches across our development teams.

Former Para Lions captain Jack Rutter has been named as new head coach of the England men’s cerebral palsy development squad, while Chris Day becomes the head coach of the England women’s deaf development squad.

Both Ryan Lewis and Sam Manoochehri will be joint head coaches of the England men’s deaf development squad.

All four coaches are UEFA A licensed and have a background in disability and development football and they will also assume roles as assistant coaches for their respective senior squads.

An additional appointment comes in the shape of Lewis Skyers, who will link up as a specialist guide for the England men’s blind squad.

Speaking about the additions, our senior technical performance manager James Watkins said: "These appointments are fantastic for the Para Performance Programme.

"The five new recruits bring a wealth of knowledge and experience across the professional game, female game, and respective impairment specific formats of the game.

"It is specifically pleasing that in Lewis, Ryan and Jack we have former international players who have transitioned to technical roles."
