The England men’s blind team are in action at the IBSA Blind Football European Championship in Italy this month.

The Para Lions have taken a nine-man squad to Pescara for the competition, which kicks-off on Saturday and runs until the final on Friday 17 June.

With ten nations entering the competition and split into two groups, there are four games for Adam Bendall’s team to face before the competition heads into the placing matches and semi-final.

Bendall and his experienced goalkeeper coach Tony Elliott have no shortage of experience on the pitch either, with eight of the squad who finished third at the 2019 IBSA Euros back for another crack at the title.
