In 2021, the UK marked its first national Thank You Day to say a personal thank you to everyone who helped us through the COVID-19 pandemic.

More than 2 million people took part in events or activities across the country.

This year, Thank You Day falls on Sunday 5 June, the weekend of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. The organisers of Thank You Day, the Together Coalition, are arranging events up and down the country, for millions of people to come together to share a Big Jubilee Lunch at the UK's biggest ever street party.

We'll also be reinforcing Thank You Day’s message to ‘play, compete and eat’ by encouraging clubs, teams and communities to have a game of football and enjoy a lunch together afterwards. Everyone is invited to get involved by playing a game of football and coming together to share a meal afterwards on Sunday 5 June.

England men’s, women’s and para team players have recorded videos to support the activity which will be shared across our platforms in the run up to Thank You Day to encourage people to get involved. Please feel free to share our content and remember to tag #ThankYouDay when you do.

County FAs, clubs, schools and wider communities can also find a series of assets and resources to download.

If you have any questions regarding Thank You Day, please visit their dedicated website.
