Young Lionesses will be looking to secure top three finishes in round one of qualification for next summer's EUROs

England women’s under-17

and under-19 teams have discovered who they will face in round one of 2022/23 UEFA European Women's Championship qualifying.

The draw for round one of qualifying for both competitions was made on Tuesday morning.

For both age groups, qualification consists of a round one and round two, where the 28 teams are divided into two leagues, each of which then has seven groups within it.

The top three teams in each of the seven groups within League A will then have the chance to qualify for the EUROs in round two of qualification, where they will be joined in mini groups by the top teams from all seven groups in League B.

The winner of the seven League A round two qualification groups will then join the hosts in the eight-team Finals tournaments next summer, with the 2022/23 UEFA European Women's Under-17 Championship taking place in Estonia and the Under-19 competition in Belgium.

England WU17s have been placed in the same round one Group A6 as Denmark, Estonia and Ukraine, while WU19s will face Denmark, Slovakia and Slovenia in Group A4.
