England learn EURO 2024 qualifying draw

The Three Lions were involved in Sunday's UEFA EURO 2024 qualifying draw on Sunday morning

England men's senior team will face opposition from Italy, Ukraine, North Macedonia and Malta in their UEFA EURO 2024 qualifying group.

The draw was made on Sunday morning in Frankfurt, with Germany hosting the 2024 edition of the EUROs, and the Three Lions were drawn out as a second seed in Group C.

And that means some interesting fixtures to come, starting in March 2023 as the teams aim to seal their spot at the Finals with the top two teams from each group qualifying to join hosts Germany and fill 21 of the 24 spots at the Finals.

A further three nations will qualify for UEFA EURO 2024 through the play-off spots, via the 2022/23 UEFA Nations League. 12 teams will be selected based on their performance in the Nations League – nominally the group winners of Leagues A, B and C. But if they have already qualified, they'll be replaced by the next best-ranked team in their league. If there are not enough non-qualified teams in the same league, then it filters down to the next league, finishing with League D.
