England WU17s will take on Sweden, Poland and France in the group stage of this summer UEFA Women's Under-17 Championship

England women’s under-17s now know who they will face at this summer’s UEFA Women’s Under-17 Championship in Estonia.

The Young Lionesses will take on Sweden, Poland and France at the eight-team finals, which take place from 14 May to 26 May.

The draw at Lilleküla Stadium, Tallinn on Thursday morning saw the nations split into two groups of four teams, who will face each other on May 14, 17 and 20.

The top two then progress to the semi-finals on May 23 before the final on May 26.

England WU17s will be looking to win the competition for the first time, having reached the semi-finals in 2007-08, 2013-14, 2015-16 and 2017-18.

The Young Lionesses have experience of playing in Estonia having beaten the hosts, Ukraine and Denmark in round one of qualifying.

Natalie Henderson’s side then beat Croatia and Belgium 4-0 before drawing 1-1 with Norway in the second round of qualifying.

England’s string of big victories helped Leicester City’s Ava Baker finish qualifying as top goalscorer on nine goals.
