UEFA Euro 2024 sale guidance
Important information and sale guidance for the UEFA Euro 2024 sale stage via UEFA's website
We have outlined some important information on the sale process below, including a guide, so you know what to expect when tickets go on sale.
Only members of the 2022-2024 England Supporters Travel Club will be able to purchase tickets for this tournament. This means that you cannot join the new membership in order to apply or buy tickets.
Important Notes Regarding the Sale:
-Once we have conducted the ballot, we will email the results to all members who registered. This email will include which Sale Stage you are successful in (if any), an access code and the dates of each Sale Stage
-When your ‘Sale Stage’ is open your Access Code will become active. During your Sale Stage, you will be guaranteed a ticket (unless otherwise stated)
-Your Access Code you will have access to the sale throughout. However, after your Sale Stage closes, you may not be able to select your category of choice
-If you are purchasing for more than one person for a match, please ensure you have all your guests Access Codes ready
-You will not be required to enter guest details during the sales process; however, each Access Code is associated to an individual ESTC member
-Once you have purchased in a group, the tickets can be used by any member in that group. When you receive the tickets from UEFA, the lead booker will be required to send the tickets to their guests. If a ticket is sent to another member/person outside of the original group, your entire group runs the risk of having their tickets cancelled
- You will have the opportunity to enter the order number of friends/family to request that you be sat with or close to them. However, you can also use this option after the purchase, i.e.: by logging into your Ticket Portal account and adding your friend/family member’s order number in the ‘Order History’ section
Neither option guarantees or increases the chance that your orders will be sat next to one another
-Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable and should be purchased with this in mind. Anyone who passes their ticket(s) to someone else (whether they are are member or not) will run the risk of their entire order being cancelled.
-If you have tickets via the UEFA General Ballot you will be unable to hold two tickets for the same match or games that happen on the same day. You will be required to place your UEFA ticket on the re-sale platform once that opens (date TBC) or risk both orders being cancelled
-Please be aware that you must be at least 18 years old on the last day of the application window to purchase tickets from UEFA. Minors cannot create an account and purchase for tickets, but they can attend the match as guests of the ticket buyer assuming they are over the age of 18. This means that if you and another member under the age of 18 are successful in different Sale Stages, you will need to wait for their Sale Stage in order to purchase both tickets. If you choose to purchase your ticket in an earlier stage, as per UEFA's rules you will be unable to purchase the U18s ticket as a single ticket order later on.
-Knock-out stage fixtures will go on sale on a match-by-match basis should England qualify
-You will be required to have the same email address on your UEFA account as you have on your ESTC account.
Sale Guide
First, you will reach the log in page.
Many of you will already have accounts with UEFA, so you can log in using these details
If you don’t, simply create an account using the same details associated to your ESTC membership
If your email address has changed since the last time you used the UEFA website, there is no rush to update it. You can do so after the sale
Once you are logged in, you will be taken to the following page, asking you to enter in your Access Code (you can add others later)
Remember, you will have a unique Access Code for each match. We suggest entering in the access code related to the first fixture you were successful for
If you are booking for more than one person, be sure to have all the Access Codes of your guests ready
Successful Wheelchair and Easy Access members will follow the same process but will only see their category available
To start the process, enter your Access Code and click on ‘Submit’
You will then see the following page. If you entered in your code correctly, you will see the Round of 16 match.
Scroll down and you will see each category for this match.
If there are no remaining tickets left in a category, then the category will not be visible.
Move to the category you are purchasing and click on the drop-down button to select 1 ticket.
You will be able to add more in the next step.
Select ‘add to cart’.
You will then see your cart.
If you wish to purchase more tickets for members that have also been successful for the same match, in the same category, click on ‘+ADD MORE TICKETS/MATCHES’ and repeat the process again.
Please ensure you are using your guest’s correct Access Code. i.e., the Access Code assigned to them for the same match.
You will continue to see ‘Your Shopping Cart’ towards the bottom of your page that includes a tally of the tickets in your basket and the current total:
When you have completed adding guests and matches to your order, click ‘BUY NOW’.
You will then be taken to your Order Summary. Each match will be totalled up individually so you can see how many tickets you have assigned for each fixture.
As you scroll towards the bottom of the page, you will have the opportunity to enter the order number of friends/family to request that you be sat with or close to them.
Please note: You can also use this option after the purchase, i.e.: by logging into your Ticket Portal account and adding your friend/family member’s order number in the ‘Order History’ section.
Neither option guarantees that your orders will be sat next to one another.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and select the option to pay. You can pay with VISA or Mastercard.
Once you have entered your details, hit ‘PAY NOW’.
We kindly advise that you keep a record of your order confirmation to ensure that you have all the details to hand.
