We look back on the last year with some of the best photos involving our England sides from 2023

Following hot on the heels of a momentous 2022, the last year has been another historic one, with no less than five England teams involved in major finals.

Here we look back on another incredible year with some of the best pictures of 2023 from our different England teams.

We were less than a week into the new year when 41 of our Para Lions flew out to Tenerife for a week-long training camp. With a host of major tournaments to come, it gave staff and players the chance to not only work on their own team objectives but also developed the sense of 'One England' among the Para squads, with members of the Blind, Cerebral Palsy, Deaf and Partially Sighted teams flying out to Spain

England Women were also set for a busy year, competing on four fronts. They started it off by beating South Korea, Italy and then Belgium to retain the Arnold Clark Cup. Giving the players yet another chance to celebrate with their fans!

It was a great start to the year for the England men's team too and in particular Harry Kane. The Three Lions skipper became his country's all-time record goalscorer during the 2-1 win away to Italy and the importance of the moment was etched all over his face.

There was more history made two weeks later when England became the first winners of the Women's Finalissima after another night of drama at Wembley Stadium, with the Lionesses beating Brazil on penalties after the visitors had equalised in injury-time
