England draw with Canada in World Cup warm-up

The Lionesses were put through their paces in a behind-closed-doors practice game on Friday ahead of the World Cup

England's took another step in their Women's World Cup preparations on Friday, as they shared a 0-0 draw with Canada in a behind-closed-doors training game.

Taking place at the Sunshine Coast Stadium in Queensland, the teams played two 45-minute halves with unlimited substitutes.

And with the World Cup now just a week away, it was a valuable exercise for both nations with 21 players in Sarina Wiegman's squad featuring in the game.
