Young Lions head coach Ryan Garry has picked his squad for three qualifying games in the Netherlands

England men’s under-17s are in the Netherlands for this month’s UEFA U17 EURO elite round qualifiers.

Ryan Garry’s Young Lions face three games over the next week against Denmark, Northern Ireland and the host nation as they aim to seal a place at this summer’s EURO Finals in Hungary.

And Garry has named a 21-strong squad to tackle the group, kicking-off against the Danes in Katwijk on Wednesday evening (6pm GMT).

They will then face Northern Ireland in Noordwijk on Saturday (12pm GMT) before it's back to Quick Boys FC in Katwijk for the final game against the Dutch on Tuesday 28 March (8pm GMT).

The nation which tops the group will progress to the U17 EURO Finals in Hungary, which take place between 17 May and 2 June.

There’s also a chance for the team in second spot to qualify, as the seven best group runners-up from the eight qualifying groups will also take their place in the Finals.

England qualified for the elite round following a successful trip to Georgia in the first qualifying round last October, where wins over Lithuania and Georgia and a draw with Israel saw them progress to this stage.
