Para Lions have selected the nine players who are heading to Brazil next week

Chris Day has named his England squad for the World Deaf Futsal Championships in Brazil later this month.

The World Deaf Futsal Championships will be taking place in Sao Paulo between November 10 and November 19, with England's group fixtures to be confirmed in due course.

James Watkins, the FA’s senior technical performance manager for England’s para teams, said: “We are greatly looking forward to the Deaf Women’s World Championships. The squad is in a good place and we believe we have the players to win games whilst producing exciting performances.

“It is specifically pleasing to know that we have a clear attacking threat and, in our head coach, Chris Day, we also know we will be tactically ready to be tested against the world’s best.”
