The England men’s Elite League squad has been named for November’s games with Italy and Germany.

New interim head coach Ben Futcher has selected a 23-player squad for the games, having taken over from Joe Edwards who left his role to become the new manager of Millwall. Futcher was previously assistant coach to Edwards for the first two camps of the season in September and October.

The Young Lions squad will meet up to begin their preparations next week before their first game against Italy at Doncaster Rovers FC on Thursday 16 November (7pm GMT).

They will then head to play Germany at the Jahnstadion Regensburg on Monday 20 November (5pm GMT) for their second game of the month.

Last month saw the newly-titled Elite League squad (formerly MU20s) suffer narrow defeats to both Romania and Portugal in their opening two games of the 2023-24 campaign.

Tickets for the match at the Eco-Power Stadium in Doncaster are on sale now.
