ENGLAND MU18s: FIND OUT MORE

England men’s under-18s will play their final games ahead of this year’s FIFA U17 World Cup, with a four nation tournament taking place in Spain.

Ryan Garry’s Young Lions will be in action at the Marbella Football Centre for what is a World Cup Warm-Up Tournament alongside Belgium, Morocco and Korea Republic who are also heading to Indonesia next month.

And Garry has picked a 25-man squad for the trip, with these games providing a last opportunity for the players to stake a claim for their place in the squad for the World Cup, which takes place between 10 November and 2 December.

Last month saw the MU18s take in three games against France, Portugal and Japan in Limoges, and there’s a number of new faces included in the squad for October as Garry looks to fully assess his options.

Among the group receiving their first call-ups are Joe Johnson of Luton Town, Anthony Munda of Newcastle United and Tom Watson of Sunderland.

England will kick-off their games against Belgium on Wednesday 11 October (2pm BST), before they face Morocco on Saturday 14 October (1.30pm BST). They finish their trip against Korea Republic on Tuesday 17 October (4.30pm BST)
