Simon Rusk has named his England MU19 squad for this month’s qualifying round of the 2023-24 UEFA Under-19 European Championships.

The Young Lions will travel to the DG Arena in Podgorica, Montenegro to take on the hosts (Wednesday 11 October), neighbours Wales (Saturday 14 October) and Austria (Tuesday 17 October).

The qualifying round sees the countries split into 13 groups, with the top two progressing to the elite round of qualifying alongside the top seeds Portugal and the third-placed team with the best record against the top two in their section.

The elite round of qualifying in Spring 2024 will then determine the seven countries who will join hosts Northern Ireland at the U19 EURO Finals next summer.

The England MU19s squad is largely the same as the one who took part in September’s camp, with the additions of Manchester City’s Kane Taylor and Nathan Lowe of Stoke City.
