Young Lions boss Ryan Garry has picked his squad for their participation at the Tournoi International in France in September

England men’s under-18s will contest the Tournoi International in Limoges this month, with three games scheduled in France.

Ryan Garry’s Young Lions will play the host nation, Japan and Portugal in the tournament, with all games taking place at the Stade de Beaublanc in Limoges.

And the head coach has selected a 23-strong squad for the trip, which begins with the game against France on Wednesday 6 September (6pm BST).

After that, they face Japan on Friday 8 September (2pm BST) before their games are rounded off on Sunday 10 September when they play Portugal (2pm BST).

The Young Lions will be using the games this month as final preparations for the FIFA U17 World Cup which takes place in Indonesia in November and December, with the draw for that competition scheduled to take place on Friday 15 September.

Many of the MU18s squad were part of last term’s MU17s, who secured qualification for the World Cup thanks to their performances in the UEFA U17 EURO in May.
