Report: France 2-0 England MU18s
The Young Lions slipped to defeat in Limoges against the host nation in the Tournoi International
England men’s under-18s began their new season with a 2-0 defeat against France in their opening game of the Tournoi International.
Ryan Garry’s side kicked-off the four nation tournament, also featuring Japan and Portugal, against the host nation.
And Les Bleus looked impressive as they took a two-goal lead in the first half which proved enough to seal the victory, despite a closer second half with both teams using their squads and making changes.
The Young Lions will be back in action on Sunday afternoon when they face Portugal (2pm BST).
