Sale Window 2 Information
We appreciate there has been some discussion around whether members, who missed out on the mini ballot for 24 cappers, should be given first priority during the second sale window.
This was ‘trialled’ again for Scotland away in the previous membership cycle but also received an equal amount of negative feedback from those who missed out. The narrative being that we were effectively increasing the 70% bracket.
For this fixture, a total of 305 members who were on 24 caps missed out in the mini ballot.
By giving these members priority, we would effectively be increasing those guaranteed a ticket to 80% and reducing the number of available tickets in the second sale window to 49 tickets.
Moving forward, tickets in Sale Window 2 will continue to be offered to ‘all remaining ESTC members’. This will be reviewed and discussed with members across forums and surveys in the coming months and ahead of the next membership cycle to ensure we offer the fairest system possible and do right by members, which is always our goal.
An additional comment we see quite often is that Sale Window 2 should only be open to those who initially register.
We have analysed the numbers of our last 10 ‘second sale’ windows and the percentage of supporters who purchase within this window, who did not initially register for a ticket, averages less than 0.4%. For a recent away match against Malta, it came to a total of 13 members. We appreciate that circumstances can change and, after all, people who fall into this bracket are also paying members.
In a recent survey, 86% of the 2500+ members who participated suggested that the current ballot/sale process was 'Satisfactory' to 'Excellent'. We also hold several fan forums over the year where we invite members to participate in open discussions and ideas about how to improve the membership.
We hope you understand the above rationale and always appreciate your constructive feedback.
Easy Access
Please note that we have not received an official Easy Access allocation for this fixture.
We have identified seats within our allocation that we believe are the most suitable for this seating type.
Once the sale has concluded, a link will be sent to all ticket holders to apply for ‘Easy Access’ seating. In this form, you will be able to highlight what type of seating would work best for you (i.e. few steps, aisle seat, extra room). We will then seek to allocate you in an area that is most suitable for you and provide a companion ticket if you are eligible.
Please note: every seat in the away end will require climbing 14 steps. However, once inside the stand, there are a very low number of small steps to access the seats.
Seating Only Area
For this fixture, based off of feedback from supporters, we have identified an area of the away end which will be dedicated to members who do not wish to stand for the entire match.
There are a total of 30 seats which meet these criteria.
An email will be sent to all ticket holders once the sale has concluded, with a link to complete a form and apply for these seats.
The Waiting List
At the moment there is no waiting list for this fixture.
A waiting list will be published and sent to members once the second sale has concluded.
Any emails received before the form has been opened, or instead of completing the form, will not be accepted.
Ticket Cancellations
Members will have until 3pm on Monday 19 August 2024 to cancel their tickets and receive a refund.
After this date, you can still cancel your ticket, but will only receive a refund (minus a £5 admin fee) if we are able to reallocate your ticket.
