The Young Lions face three games at St. George's Park this month as they target EURO Finals spot

England men’s under-17s head coach Greg Lincoln has selected his squad for their UEFA U17 EURO elite round qualifiers this week.

The Young Lions take on Hungary, Northern Ireland and France in their group knowing that a top two finish will secure a spot at May’s U17 EURO Finals in Cyprus.

Lincoln has named a 21-man squad for the games which will all be hosted at St. George’s Park, kicking off on Wednesday afternoon (3pm) when England face Northern Ireland in their opening match.

After that, they take on Hungary on Saturday (3pm), before the final group game with France is scheduled for Tuesday 26 March with a 7.30pm kick-off.

England reached the elite round qualifiers following their performances in the first round last November when they took three wins from three games in Croatia, including a 5-1 win over the host nation, a 5-0 victory over Kosovo and an 8-0 scoreline against Faroe Islands.
