England men’s under-17s start the new season with a trip to Germany for three games against Venezuela, Israel and the host nation in September.
Liam Bramley’s Young Lions are preparing for the first qualifying round of the 2026 UEFA U17 EURO competition, which starts in October when they face Scotland, Lithuania and Sweden.
The head coach has named a 23-player squad for the trip which will start in Duisburg when they take on Venezuela on Wednesday 3 September (2pm BST), before they tackle Israel three days later on Saturday 6 September (2pm BST) with both games being played at the Leichtathletikstadion venue.
They will finish the trip with a match against Germany on Tuesday 9 September (10am BST) at the Sportschule Wedau.
While England will enter the FIFA U17 World Cup in Qatar later this year, it will be this season’s MU18s squad under the charge of Neil Ryan who travel to compete in that tournament in November after qualifying due to their performance in the 2025 UEFA U17 EURO.
