After a weekend of competition across 13-14 December, England Gaming's EA Sports FC team reached the semi- finals of the UEFA eEuros after a quarter-final win against Germany.

The eLions’ Stingray then faced current UEFA eChampions League winner Emre Yilmaz of the Netherlands and bowed out at the semi-final stage.

From Monday 15 December, it was England Gaming's Rocket League team that took the mantle at the FIFAe World Cup.

After a superb group stage, England qualified in second after beating tournament favourites France and picking up huge results against Belgium, Netherlands and Morocco.

Once into the quarter-finals, England matched up against another of the tournament favourites in Brazil. In a best of seven series, England took Brazil all the way to game seven but weren't able to win that final match.

England now end the 2025 season as one of the top-ranked nations in both EA Sports FC and Rocket League, meaning 2026 gives them the opportunity to improve these rankings with tournaments beginning in March.
