England men’s under-19s kicked-off the new season with a 2-0 victory over Ukraine at the Pinatar Arena in Spain.

Will Antwi’s team are in Murcia for three games this month, as they start their preparations for this season’s UEFA U19 EURO championship.

And they made a good start with Wednesday’s win as the Young Lions ran out as deserved victors.

Despite Ukraine having an early goal ruled out for offside, it was England who took the lead in the tenth minute when Divine Mukasa struck the Young Lions ahead.

They doubled their advantage just after the hour-mark, when substitute Shumaira Mheuka made it 2-0.
