England's Three Lions kicked off their FIFA World Cup 2026 campaign with a 4-2 victory over Croatia in Group L yesterday evening and it’s back to work today, while the Lionesses await the play-off draw as they bid to qualify for the FIFA Women's World Cup 2027.
The Three Lions are gearing up for their second of three group games against Ghana on Tuesday 23 June (9pm BST kick-off) at the Boston Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, USA.
Back at base
Thomas Tuchel and his players travelled back to their Kansas City base last night after beating Croatia in Dallas.
The players will undergo recovery sessions and later in the day, and England will look to build up match fitness for the players who didn't start against Croatia with a behind-closed-doors fixture.

Meanwhile, the Lionesses will find out who they will face in the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027 play-offs as they continue their bid to reach Brazil.
The draw for Wiegman's side takes place at 11am BST from Nyon, Switzerland and you can find out all about the play-offs here.
