England are gearing up for their second group stage outing against Ghana on Tuesday 23 June (9pm BST kick-off) at the Boston Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, USA at the FIFA World Cup 2026.

The build-up continues today, with just four days to go until the Three Lions are back in action again.

Yesterday’s recap

The Three Lions are back in Kansas City – where they will be based throughout the group stage – after beating Croatia in their World Cup opener.

Yesterday, Thomas Tuchel and his players attended a Major League Baseball game between Kansas City Royals and St Louis Cardinals at Kauffman Stadium.

Head coach Tuchel threw the first pitch while the players met Matt Quatraro, manager of the Royals.

England also enjoyed a workout against local Major League Soccer side Sporting Kansas City in a behind-closed-doors fixture, with the players who didn’t start against Croatia building up match fitness.
