Three Lions Daily: What's coming up for England today?
Find out what's on the agenda on 22 June for Thomas Tuchel's Three Lions
There is just one day to go until England are back in action against Ghana on Tuesday 23 June (9pm BST kick-off) at the FIFA World Cup 2026.
The Three Lions will go head-to-head with the Black Stars at Boston Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, USA in their second Group L match.
Training and preparations
Thomas Tuchel and his players train for the final time before the game with Ghana at their Kansas City base today.
The squad are based at Swope Soccer Village, one of Sporting Kansas City’s training facilities and the current home of the club’s MLS NEXT Pro and MLS NEXT sides.
The complex, located in the heart of Kansas City’s historic Swope Park, has previously hosted a variety of national and club sides having opened in 2007.
Travel to Boston
Shortly after training, England will head to the airport for their second trip away from Kansas City following last week's visit to Dallas for the win over Croatia.
Tuchel's squad and staff will take a flight to Boston, Massachusetts, the venue for their next World Cup fixture. Located on the east coast, Boston is an hour ahead of Kansas City.
While the majority of the squad will immediately travel on to the team hotel on arrival, the same cannot be said of Tuchel and one his players.
Ghana preview
England's head coach will instead head to Boston Stadium for his pre-match press conference with the media.
Tuchel and a member of his squad will preview Tuesday night's game with Ghana, who began their own campaign with a last-minute 1-0 win over Panama.
The remainder of the evening will be spent having dinner and resting as Tuchel and his squad eye a place in the knockout rounds.
