In anticipation of the FIFA 2026 World Cup, England have released an atmospheric video to unveil the designs for the new Three Lions’ home and away kit.

The visuals are brought to life by one of the most influential figures in British music this century, Mike Skinner. Both kits will be available from Monday 23 March via EnglandStore.com and Nike websites.

The biggest stage in football is set to be lit up with fresh designs on both kits, with a distinct collar and fabric print that pops on the white home design and a central badge on the red kit.

Directed by Keane Pearce Shaw, the launch is a galvanising moment for fans and players alike, celebrating the diversity of the England squad whilst also acknowledging the unifying aspects of England fandom during major tournaments.

There are nods to past tournaments, from Bobby Moore 60 years on from England’s win on home soil, to Jude Bellingham’s bicycle kick at EURO 2024. We also see fan favourite Jordan Pickford in the new goalkeeping kit for the first time in an England kit launch.

This launch signifies a new era for the Three Lions, being the first major tournament under the management of Thomas Tuchel, with skipper Harry Kane, the new face of Elliot Anderson, and Marcus Rashford at the heart of the video.

What stands out most about this release is the ambition to bring the joy back to English football.

After multiple near misses in recent years, there's a sense of optimism amongst the Americana and the smiles on the faces of players and fans.

There’s also inclusivity in championing Para Lions with Dan McLellan (England Powerchair), Harry Baker (England cerebral palsy), Ollie Johnson (England Blind men’s) and Oliver Manoochehri (England deaf Men's) from their respective England teams, as well as real fans.

Mike Skinner provides the perfect voiceover for the video, tapping into his ability to summarise the mood of the nation that has seen him scoop up multiple number one albums and a Brit Award in the process.

He signs-off by saying, ‘Can the Jules Rimet come home again? To England, to this green and pleasant land.’

This launch encapsulates the power of the Three Lions and their enduring symbolism of hope for the nation.
