Find out when Thomas Tuchel will name his squad for the FIFA 2026 World Cup in North America

The England men’s senior squad for the FIFA 2026 World Cup will be named on Friday 22 May, and you can see it first on the official England app.

Head coach Thomas Tuchel will name a 26-player squad for the competition in Canada, Mexico and USA, which takes place between 11 June and 19 July, and Three Lions fans will be able to see the list before anywhere else, on the app.

Tuchel will then speak for the first time about his squad selection on a live show from Wembley Stadium connected by EE, which will be shown exclusively on the app.

To get you in the mood, our new England World Cup Squad Selector game has also been launched on the app today, allowing you to select your own World Cup squad.

And if you correctly pick the same 26 players as Tuchel, you will be in with a chance of winning a signed England shirt by the official squad!

In early June, the squad will head to Florida for a pre-World Cup training camp which will also see them play two games against New Zealand (9pm BST, Saturday 6 June) and Costa Rica (9pm BST, Wednesday 10 June) with tickets for those matches now on sale.

England will then begin their World Cup campaign a week later when they meet Croatia in their group stage opener in Dallas on Wednesday 17 June (9pm BST), before facing Ghana in Boston on Tuesday 23 June (9pm BST) and then finishing the group stage games against Panama in New Jersey on Saturday 27 June (10pm BST).

And the England app will be the best place for fans to stay close to the team in North America throughout what promises to be an exciting summer, with exclusive content from the camp, behind-the-scenes access, match coverage and reaction and much more to come, all in the app.

Once downloaded, fans can register and sign into the app, so you can easily follow the teams that matter most to you and enjoy a more personalised experience.
