England learn FIFA U20 Women's World Cup 2026 draw

The Young Lionesses will compete at this year's tournament in Poland

England women’s under-20s will face Brazil, Tanzania and Canada at the 2026 FIFA Under-20 Women’s World Cup.

The Young Lionesses were drawn into Group B, having been placed in Pot 2 ahead of the draw.

Group A: Poland, Argentina, Mexico, Benin

Group B: Brazil, Tanzania, Canada, England

Group C: France, Korea Republic, Ecuador, Ghana

Group D: Japan, New Zealand, USA, Italy

Group E: Korea DPR, Portugal, Costa Rica, Colombia

Group F: Spain, Nigeria, New Caledonia, China PR

The Young Lionesses qualified for this year’s tournament after finishing third in their group at the 2025 UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship last summer.

The twelfth edition of the tournament involves 24 teams, running from 5 to 27 September in Poland.

It will be staged across four host cities: Bielsko-Biała, Katowice, Łódź – where the draw took place – and Sosnowiec.
