England MU21s qualify for UEFA U21 EURO 2027
Lee Carsley's Young Lions will be at next year's tournament in Albania and Serbia
England men’s under-21s have qualified for UEFA U21 EURO 2027.
A goalless draw against Slovakia in Stoke sealed the Young Lions’ place at next year’s tournament.
Lee Carsley’s side – the defending champions, having won back-to-back European titles in 2023 and 2025 – are unbeaten so far in their qualification campaign, recording seven wins and two draws.
And the Young Lions still have a game to spare. They face the Republic of Ireland on Tuesday 6 October (6pm BST kick-off) in Cork.
That game will be available to watch live on the official England app.
England top Group D with 23 points as it stands, with a chance to cap off an impressive campaign by going unbeaten.
Next year's EUROs will be staged in Albania and Serbia between 17 June and 4 July 2027 across eight host cities.
England join Albania, Serbia – who have qualified as co-hosts – Croatia, Norway and Portugal in booking their place at the tournament so far.
