The standout facts and figures after England's landmark victory

England have recorded their biggest victory since June 2023 (also 7-0 vs North Macedonia) and their biggest ever win in the UEFA Nations League.

This was the heaviest defeat of Croatia’s history. Their joint-heaviest home loss also came against England in September 2008 (1-4).

England have equalled their longest ever winning run away from home, also recording nine victories in a row between December 1965 and October 1967.

The Three Lions had four different players (Harry Kane, Jude Bellingham, Anthony Gordon, Bukayo Saka) score in the first half of a game (excluding own goals) for the first time since March 2013 against San Marino (Frank Lampard, Jermain Defoe, Ashley Young, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain).

Harry Kane is the first player to score 10+ goals in three different calendar years for England: 11 in 2026, 16 in 2021 and 12 in 2019.

Other than Harry Kane, Anthony Gordon is the only player to be directly involved in a goal in five consecutive England appearances across the last 10 years (4 goals, 2 assists).

This is the first time a pair of players have scored in three consecutive England games (Anthony Gordon and Harry Kane) since October/November 2019 (Marcus Rashford and Harry Kane).

Jude Bellingham was directly involved in more than two goals in an England game for the first time (1 goal, 3 assists). He is the first player to record three assists in a game for the Three Lions since Trent Alexander-Arnold against San Marino in November 2021.

England’s Bukayo Saka scored two right footed goals in a match for the first time in his senior career for club and country (378th appearance tonight).

Anthony Gordon has scored two headed goals in his last two England appearances – across 248 total club appearances for Everton, Preston, Newcastle and Barcelona, he hasn’t scored a single header.

Elliot Anderson made his 20th appearance for England today, only 392 days since he made his debut - it is the quickest a player has reached 20 caps for the Three Lions, overtaking the record held by Chris Waddle (453 days).
