The stats behind Harry Kane's England journey as he equals Peter Shilton's Three Lions all-time appearance record

Harry Kane has added to his incredible list of England milestones by equalling the record for the most caps won for the Three Lions after captaining the team against Czechia in the UEFA Nations League.

The captain is now level with legendary goalkeeper Peter Shilton on 125 appearances for his country, having made his debut as a substitute against Lithuania back in 2015.

Kane’s achievement is the latest in a long list of records during his 11-and-a-half year international career, which has seen him represent England at eight major tournaments.

He is most notably the Three Lions’ all-time record goalscorer, with his brace against Czechia on his 125th appearance increasing his tally to 91 - 38 goals clear of second-placed Wayne Rooney.

But Kane’s amazing numbers go well beyond total appearances and goals. Here, we take a closer look at the stats behind his England career so far.
