England Supporters Travel Club Supporter Working Group 2026/28
England Supporters Travel Club Supporter Working Group 2026/28
The FA is inviting members of the England Supporters Travel Club (ESTC) to apply to join the 2026/28 Supporter Working Group.
The Supporter Working Group will operate throughout the 2026/28 membership cycle, with a particular focus on the experience of England supporters following the senior men's team towards and during UEFA EURO 2028, which takes place at the end of the cycle.
Subject to England securing qualification, UEFA EURO 2028 will bring the tournament to home shores. Supporter input will be an important part of ensuring the best possible experience for England fans, both in the build-up to the tournament and throughout the competition.
Being the voice of the supporters
The previous ESTC Supporter Working Group made a lasting contribution to how The FA understands and represents England supporters. Through regular discussions and constructive feedback, members helped inform decisions on ticketing, communications, accessibility, matchday experiences and supporter services.
Building on this work, a refreshed group will engage with The FA throughout the 2026/28 ESTC membership cycle, focusing on the build-up to and delivery of UEFA EURO 2028.
Bringing together members with diverse backgrounds and experiences, the group will build on the previous cohort’s foundations, ensuring supporter insight continues to shape decisions and improve the England supporter experience ahead of and during the tournament.
What will the Supporter Working Group discuss?
The group will be invited to provide feedback and insight on a range of topics, including:
- Supporter engagement
- Supporter behaviour
- Communication
- Demographic experience
- Home and away match experience
-Ticketing and ballots
-Travel and transport
- Accessibility and inclusion
-Tournament-time supporter services
The topics discussed will develop throughout the cycle, and members may also be contacted between meetings to provide views on specific issues or proposals.
How will the group work?
The Supporter Working Group will meet regularly throughout the 2026/28 membership cycle, continuing through the build-up to UEFA EURO 2028 and the post-tournament review.
- 10–12 supporters will be selected to form the Supporter Working Group.
- Members will commit to an 18-month term, from appointment through to the post-tournament review following UEFA EURO 2028. This will allow members to contribute to discussions during the planning and preparation stages, share feedback throughout the tournament, and help The FA reflect on the supporter experience afterwards.
- The group is expected to meet four times per year, with the first meeting anticipated to take place in November 2026.
Members may also be contacted between meetings to share their thoughts and opinions on specific topics.
We are looking for members who can commit to attending meetings where possible and who are willing to engage constructively with The FA, offering their own perspectives while considering the wider needs of England supporters.
Who can apply?
Applications are open to all ESTC members aged 18 or over.
We are looking to establish a group that reflects the diversity of England supporters, with members selected from a broad range of backgrounds, experiences and demographics.
Applicants should be willing to share their own experiences while also considering the wider needs and views of England supporters. They should also be prepared to commit to the full 18-month term, including the post-tournament review following UEFA EURO 2028.
How will members be selected?
