Ballot results for Spain away

Ballot results are now live for our UEFA Nations League fixture against Spain, taking place on Sunday 15 November in Madrid.

Our allocation for this match has been confirmed as 3,515 tickets in the England away section. We are still awaiting confirmation of the final ticket price.
A total of 14,445 ESTC 2026–28 members registered their interest in attending this fixture. As the fixture was oversubscribed, a ballot was required to determine who would be offered the chance to purchase tickets.

We have conducted the ballot ahead of the September and October internationals, allowing supporters as much notice and planning time as we can ahead of travelling to Madrid in November.

The cap cut-off point to be guaranteed a ticket for this match was 30 active caps.

Members on 29 active caps were entered into a mini ballot to complete the top 70% of our allocation for guaranteed members. Therefore, not all members on 29 active caps were guaranteed a ticket.

All other members who registered and met the eligibility criteria were entered into the 30% ballot. 2,035 members held fewer than six active caps and therefore were not entered into the ballot.

Away Match Eligibility

Please be aware that, for oversubscribed away fixtures, members must hold a minimum of six active caps to be eligible for the ballot as per our recent policy changes outlined in our membership launch story.

This means that not all of the 14,445 members who registered their interest were ultimately included in the ballot for this fixture. 2,035 members held fewer than six active caps and therefore were not entered into the ballot.

There is also an important change to how second chance sales will operate from the 2026–28 membership cycle.
Once all members successful in the ballot have had the opportunity to purchase their guaranteed ticket, any remaining tickets will be made available in a second chance sale. This sale will be open to all remaining eligible ESTC members with six or more active caps, regardless of whether they initially registered their interest in the fixture.

This is a change from previous membership cycles, where there was no minimum caps requirement and any active ESTC member could register for an away match ballot, regardless of their caps total.

Sale Details

First and second sale information for this game will be confirmed in due course.

Group bookings for all away matches are limited to a maximum of four members per group and each person will need to be a Travel Club member who was successful in the ballot. If you wish to be seated as a group you will be required to book your seats in one order.

You will need to provide the Travel Club FAN number and dates of birth of each member of your group, so please ensure you have these to hand before you go online to buy.

Ticket Collection Point

Waiting List

The waiting list will open after the second sale has concluded or after the first sale has concluded should there be fewer than 5% of tickets remaining. Further details and a link to join the waiting list will be shared at that time.

Easy Access Seating

Please note that we have not received an official Easy Access allocation for this fixture.

We have identified seats within our allocation that we believe are the most suitable for supporters requiring Easy Access seating.
If you are a ticket holder and require Easy Access seating and/or a companion ticket, we will contact you directly after all ticket sales have been completed with details of how to submit your request.

Please note that you will only be eligible for a companion/carer if you hold a Nimbus card and have it registered against your account here.

Wheelchair Tickets

We are awaiting final confirmation on how many wheelchair space tickets will be available, each with a companion ticket.
Members who registered for wheelchair and companion seating and are successful in the ballot will be contacted directly with information on how to purchase their tickets.

Seating Only Area

For this fixture, we have identified an area of the away end dedicated to members who prefer not to stand for the entire match.
If you are a ticket holder and would prefer seating in this area, we will contact you directly after all ticket sales have been completed with details of how to submit your request.

The Ballot

The ballot was conducted using the 70%/30% rule as outlined in section 6.2 of the Rules of Membership.
Based on all eligible members who applied, the cap cut-off point to be guaranteed a ticket to this match was 30 active caps.
Members who were on 29 active caps were entered into a mini ballot to make up the rest of the 70%.

Further information

- Tickets for away matches are available to eligible ESTC 2026–28 members only.
- If you have been successful in the ballot, you are guaranteed a ticket provided you purchase during Sale Window 1.
- Successful members do not need to purchase with the same members they registered with.
- All ticket collection information will be communicated directly to ticket purchasers once the sales process has concluded.
- As always, caps will not be allocated to members who do not attend the fixture.
