A box-to-box midfielder who received her first senior call-up for the FIFA Women's World Cup 2027 play-off games against Greece in September 2026, having progressed through the England pathway teams in the seasons prior to that.
Born in Epsom, Lexi was picked up as a young player by Chelsea at the age of eight and hit the headlines in 2023 when she became the youngest player to sign a professional contract at the age of 17. She continued to progress through the Chelsea ranks and enjoyed a loan spell with Crystal Palace in 2024-25 to further her development in the domestic game before joining the first-team squad at Chelsea.
It was her form with Young Lionesses which kept her firmly on the England radar, as she became a mainstay of the WU17s and WU19s squads which she captained before progressing into the WU23s to continue her progress.
