KATIE ROBINSON: ENGLAND FOOTBALL PROFILE

It’s my first World Cup and I have to say, it’s all been an amazing experience for me so far.

Right from the preparation camp, which was really good, and now that the games are underway that’s brought another level of excitement to it and I’m just trying to take it all in really.

What has been nice is that we’ve been based by the sea. I come from Newquay originally, so it’s something that I’ve been used to all my life.

I think the sea brings a sense of calmness and it does remind me of home, so that’s been really nice and the base camp is really special as I’m sure everyone has seen from the photos and videos.

For me, I’ve enjoyed playing table tennis and a bit of darts mainly. Me and Esme like to play darts together and there’s more of a group of us who play on the table tennis too. It gets a little bit competitive, but nothing too serious as it’s just for our enjoyment really.

But in the evening, I like chilling and just watching the other games on the screen in the Relaxation Room.

It's a World Cup so you know that all teams are of a high quality and that’s definitely been the case here. There’s some great teams, with good players and they’ve all been amazing in their own right to get here and perform.

On the pitch, we’ve had two wins from two games now which is the most important thing and that’s what we’re going to try and do on Tuesday to make it three from three against China.

We had the news from Keira’s scan late on Saturday. She’s in the best place possible with the medical team here and as we all know, unfortunately injuries are part and parcel of the game.

But everyone’s been focused on that game against China in training over the last few days, so we just want the game to come now.
